Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

It’s a fantastic loophole the left has engineered. The overarching theme that you can flood the country with illegals but not kick them out is the issue. America voted largely to deport and that’s what Trump should give them.

Let the left try to impeach Trump for giving the American people wants they want. It will be fantastic for the mid terms.
Quit pretending the rule of law is some wacky leftist framework. Your guy picked 1/3 of the current Supreme Court and every one of them ruled in this way.

The people voted to deport illegals. They didn’t vote to deport illegals as long as the courts approve of the process.

Trump owes it to America to fulfill his promise
You may have voted to deport illegals regardless of court approval, but you are not the arbiter of American voter support of violating the civil liberties of others I'm afraid.

Trump is welcome to fulfill his promise legally.

No the framework is to flood the zone with illegals knowing our “system”’would make it difficult to remove.

Trump owes it to the American people to deport. He isn’t violating the court in any way that impacts Americans like the autopen regime did.

Yes - let’s have them vote on it again in 26.

I hope the left tries to impeach Trump over this and then goes to their constituency saying they did everything possible to stop trump from deporting illegals.

Trump owes it to the American people to uphold the Constitution.

That’s not what is happening in this particular case. You keep bringing up the left. Like yes, I’m also against it, but have you seen who the heck I’m caucusing with on this question of *checks notes* if the President can illegally send people to prison without due process?

Thats the issue for this case - But if Trump rounded up any illegal with no hisotry of being in this country prior to 2021 and sent them to their home country on the US dime the left would find a million reasons why its wrong. And thast coming and you'll be against it for a million reasons.

Thethe and Garmel, since you’ve brought me up as the crazy leftist that libertarians should be cringing at agreeing with, this would be like if I spent the last 4 years declaring Biden need not care about the Courts and just told him to delete whichever servers have student loan debt info or whatever and told you all that the American people actually voted for student loan forgiveness and any attempts by the Court to delay or stop it should be impeachable conduct by the judges.

It's bananas

I’ll be against it for normal personal and moral reasons, but that’s the rub with laws and the people enforcing them. Sometimes you lose and have to live in a world where things you want to happen don’t happen and vice versa. I would not declare Donald Trump legally removing illegal immigrants as an illegal crisis. I just wouldn’t vote to let it happen.

But again - you are brining up situations that impact Americans directly while Trump needs to ignore the courts to get non-americans out of the country.

I know you want to make it hte same issue but it isn't.

Until you demand that each persons case need individual review to prove they were here illegally or haven't been here for 5+ years.

Youd demand each case be given its day in court locking the system down making it impossible to deport.

I don’t know how to make this any clearer: the Constitution, and by extension the Supreme Court’s rulings, are not some ala carte menu where you can refrain if you think they got it wrong.

Also, you’re not speaking for all Americans when you say this. What about all the Americans whose friend/spouse/family member is undocumented? Are you ruling on their behalf when you allow the President to send people to CECOT? This is about the rule of law, not morality. I’d argue much of this is also a moral outrage, but I don’t have as strong of a hand on that one.

All those people got to vote on mass deportations and Trump won the popular vote.

You know which type of people are most likely to have an illegal associate? Hispanics and they moved HEAVILY towards Trump.

America has spoken and the courts should not get in the way of what the American people wanted when the 'targtets' here are not even American citizens.

Your comparison to student loan debt actually takes money out of some americans pockets and puts it into another. Deportation actually will reduce costs/crime all around for all Americans. Its not close to the same situation.
