Another judge who fails to see the Post-Constitutional moment we’re in.
AOC in 28 with a brand new playbook is a terrifying thought. So Trump approval rating is in the gutter. Republicans gonna win house in 26?
Will they beat AOC in 28?
But she’s called out this playbook for being unconstitutional. Surely sure wouldn’t change her mind on that if the policies were ones she liked.AOC in 28 with a brand new playbook is a terrifying thought.
I believe she was one of the leading voices calling for Biden to ignore and defy the courts. Unsurprisingly i do not recall your objections thenBut she’s called out this playbook for being unconstitutional. Surely sure wouldn’t change her mind on that if the policies were ones she liked.
I never supported those calls and it diminished my opinion of her. I think she’s got the right vision for how the Dems should be speaking to voters and where the party’s priorities should be, but her hyper-partisanship and justifications for the same behaviors she attacks on the right are a major issue.I believe she was one of the leading voices calling for Biden to ignore and defy the courts. I suspect you'll vote for her despite those concernsI never supported those calls and it diminished my opinion of her. Sure China is an existential threat to America’s golden age and all, but have you stopped to consider that TikTok is very popular amongst a surprisingly competitive voting bloc and they didn’t realize that when they started all this ban TikTok stuff?
Not in a primary, but it’ll depend on the opposition in a general. You have to admit the current Republican Party isn’t giving me very principled alternatives.I suspect you'll vote for her despite those concerns
What incentive are you giving her to change? Not in a primary, but it’ll depend on the opposition in a general. You have to admit the current Republican Party isn’t giving me very principled alternatives.
I’m not in the business of giving people those incentives. I’m not going to vote for the party allowing Donald Trump to do all this just to stop AOC from maybe doing the same. What incentive are you giving her to change?
what tells you she would round up people based on skin color or shut down funding for cancer research ?I’m not in the business of giving people those incentives. I’m not going to vote for the party allowing Donald Trump to do all this just to stop AOC from maybe doing the same.
change what ? why would she change ? to please the likes of you !What incentive are you giving her to change?
This is the trap we can easily fall down if we allow ourselves. A hypothetical President AOC would surely not govern with the same policy priorities as Trump, but if we would accept her governing in the same manner: ignoring court orders and bypassing Congress through EOs for speed and/or convenience, the complaints about Trump’s actions feels unprincipled.8

Nah, he was referring to my preferences. Sturg surely wouldn’t enjoy an AOC presidency and isn’t asking how I think she’d change her policy proposals to be less progressive.change what ? why would she change ? to please the likes of you !
