The point is to try and cut out the fraud and abuse in it, and services to non citizens that don’t pay in to keep it solvent. Not a fan? To the taxpayer, not cuts at all.

The math ain’t mathing for the proposed cuts to only affect that. I’m not trying to convince you we shouldn’t cut Medicaid, but the reality is that this bill is written to do so.

It sure does. And it's surreal to see all the posters around here attacking it for not doing that.

Sure, anything is possible and cutting entitlements is bad for winning elections so I wouldn’t count on you losing your bet. But if we do it won’t be because this bill was written with that outcome in mind.
