Fair point, but I’m admittedly a bit skeptical that anybody who thought Trump was set to rock it in February and doesn’t now is carefully re-considering their allegiances and beliefs.
 
There is a happy medium between nothing ever changing your mind and everything changing your mind. I don't mean to hold up young people as inhabitants of that happy medium. They're obviously going to change their minds more than people with deeply entrenched beliefs. They are not old enough to have formed such beliefs. Some of them are living apart from their families for the first time. It is typically a time of growth and change setting politics aside.

Yeah it was going down before the goon took office around me. But then the volatility with our biggest oil importer stopped that. Now it seems stalled at 2.90-3.10 in my area and we have by our area's standard cheap gas, go down to more tourist trap areas and you'll see it in the mid 3s.
 
ALso worth noting that like most MAGAssholes he just makes the parameters whatever he wants. By rolling into a building that was built 5 years ago. I like When someone has a back bone and stands up to the oaf. He's such a fucking lying scumbag.

Still, how does a building need $3b to renovate. That seems impossible outside of the usual money laundering

My problem here isn’t really the funding cut. If we’re cutting some discretionary spending in accordance with the current Administration’s priorities that’s just the way the cookie crumbles. I’m calling bullshit on the phrase DEI being inserted into the government not spending money to help with a water contamination issue. Just own the fact that you’re cutting spending without pretending otherwise.

Take it up with the folks that approved the spending, man. They’re just making a spectacle of it to get interest rates lowered.
