Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

Yup. You don’t even have to disagree with conservatives on the handling of COVID or the vaccine to recognize that just bailing on emerging medical research is a silly and short-sighted momove.
But we'll be bringing back those toaster and sneakers factories.

I’m all for following the science wherever it leads and proper diet can be important for your mental health, but I just don’t trust this man on this topic. This has a direct trail back to the bogus anti-vax studies used to link vaccines to autism decades ago.
Can’t agree.

Gut is where a lot of absorption takes place.

Lot of people that have parts of gut removed have to have meds to correct it

Trump threatens the homeless to leave the city. Sure, I guess if we just arrest and abuse the homeless our cities would be much safer. Who cares if some good people get abused in the process. Think of the greater good people.

Guys, I realize I’m a soft on crime leftist snowflake, but can I just say it’s a bit convenient that the impetus for turning the military loose on DC is one of the most prominent members of the DOGE team that lied about all the fraud we needed to fix being attacked on the street.

What comes after Trump is much worse than Trunp.

People are fed up with the lefts willingness to allow crime and are gonna put up with a lot more to stop it

Meh, I don’t think the people within these cities are going to approve, and I think it’s weird to suggest the rest of the country should have that much of a say.

As for DC, I see absolutely no good argument for the current boundaries of the district. If you’re going to have DC remain under federal control, it should be limited as much as possible to just include federal buildings and *maybe* some housing accommodations for federal workers. Having an entire major city worth of people not exist within a state is dumb and anti-democratic. Boot the residential portion of DC to Maryland or Virginia or both and be done with it.
