What do you do with an almost poor family where the father was driving a truck for a living and that is taken away by driverless tech?

Let them die? Tell them to learn new skills?

The socialism angle is so stupid because in socialism productivity plummets. In the future of AI and Robotics we have productivity spikes of 100X.

Again, just absolutely silly uninformed or emotional takes.

I dont know. We've gone through industry disruption countless times and new jobs and opportunities arise as technology expands.

Here's what I do know. I dont want to embrace a world where we accept and demand the federal government be the main source of income for all citizens. That is a catastrophic situation that will lead to tyranny, death, and despair as it always has

This is like nothing we have seen before and trying to say "Its like the industrial revolution" just goes to show that you really can't grasp the gravity of whats about to happen to society because of AI/Robotics.

The real catostrophic situation is 200+M completley locked out of the labor market with no point of entry and they are starving. Your solution is apparently not to help these people? Then what happens to them?

Why wont' you use your good brain (which you do have despite it not being super intelligence like me :) ) and try to imagine a world like that and what that means for people like you and I that have worked hard and want to enjoy a functioning country.

Not understanding the real issue with socialism/communism is decreased productivity / shitty work that gets done is well something....

But sure - The ~10M who drive for a living will definitely be able to get the new tech jobs that open up because of AI/Robotics.

Thats a great plan for the future!
