Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

You often write off very simple solutions.

Defund the fraud? No! We have to do a very long complicated deportation effort instead. But we still will fund it

Eliminate the reason the leeches come here? No! We have to keep that bc i want socialism for americans!

Why would we make immigration easier? Who says we have to do this?

Especially when robotics will take all these low skill jobs?
You've been saying the robotics will take these low skill jobs to ages. But there's no significant movement on it. Why cripple the economy on the promise of robotics. I won't even go into the economics of what farmer can afford buying a robot to pick their fields.

Ages? How long have I been saying this exactly?

Robots will be mass produced at a rate that will make affordability shocking.

States and NGOs will still fund it. I have worked with NGOs who spent big money to find data on more people they could subsidize. They would sometimes fight over recruits, competing to be the first to subsidize them. It’s mind blowing.

A firm deportation policy can be rolled back the next time Dems take control, but people will still hesitate to uproot their lives when that could change in 4 years. Funding for NGOs would just come right back online.

There is no answer other than mass deportation and whatever funding it takes to make it happen.

There is nothing else that can happen the next 10 years (aside from robotics) that will improve the lives of Americans more. Rand/Massie/Amash/Reason magazine are clueless on this fact.

Im fully supportive of mass deportations.

I also dont get why MAGA seems uninterested in cutting out the funding for the current people here

Well the Libertarian contingent isn't and thats the issue. Thats the only thing I have an issue with here.

Who doesn't support cutting possible funding? Trump admin has had many actions to ensure this is not happening that you are conveniently ignoring here.

Withoiut mass deportations nothing else matters.

I don’t look at robotics as happily as you seem to. Their first target will be the few manufacturing jobs that still provide a decent wage. I know Elon has hypothesized a UBI once we live in some tech utopia, but that is the last thing I want or the country needs. Men are meant to strive. We are already too far away from that and it’s harmful to culture and mental health.

Rs just passed a bill with $5B in funding for wellfare for non citizens. Trump will sign it

I agree that this will have drastic consequences for as a species. But to me, its a train that isn't stopping. We will simply not need low skill farm hands in the near future.

Cutting welfare spending is necessary, and electorally suicidal unless done in slow, targeted waves.

Oh Jaw - Don't go and bring up electability now. You're a coward if you do so.

Because we know if Trump fights this because of this provision the left will make it about everything else.

Same thing with abortion which I assumed you would have learned by now Sturg. Trump HAD to skirt around hte issue during the run up to 24 and look at what we have gotten. Far and away (not even close) the most pro-life president in our nations history.

Yeah hes super popular with women

Im told Trump is ushering a golden age that will secure power for Rs for at least the next 16 years.

If nows not the time to veto a tiny spending amount for illegals, there never will be.

Theres always a scary midterm less than 2 years away

Cotton pickers are 1.5 -6 million each an going up every year

Larger produce guys run 4-5M in h2a labor paying 14$-15 an hour plus housing and transportation for pick work.

Just for reference vs what a potential robot may run.

Its odd to me everyone just shrugs their shoulders at the fact the dems cheated their way through this census.

The impact of this from legislations and how we live our lives is massive.

ALL THE LEFT DOES IS LIE/CHEAT/STEAL. They must be crushed.
This is it. Power grab. Their voters are fine with it, and entirely to blame for the mess we are in. Original sin

And it wasn’t out of the good of their hearts, it was for the votes.
