Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

The left gets mad Trump fufills his campaign promises the right complains the left lies and becomes infinitely more extreme when in power.

We are not the same.
Spanberger and VA are a perfect symbol of what I’ve been saying, there is no such thing as a moderate Democrat now. Spanberger and Biden were the most recent two to billed as such. Both have governed as extremists. It shouldn’t surprise anyone who has read any of the party platform.

Manchin and Sinema are gone, Hoodie guy is the exception that proves the rule.

Cautionary tale for other orgs. Indians aren't bad people. They just aren't as smart as Whites/Orientals. Its all about paying less and we've known that from the beginning.
My take is that Microsoft's engineers and computer scientists (who are mostly foreign born or the children of immigrants) are having their lunch eaten by Google's engineers and computer scientists (who are also mostly foreign born or the children of immigrants). ChatGPT is the best thing that ever happened to Google. It lit a fire under them at a time when they were getting stodgy and complacent.

Microsoft hasn't made anything new and exciting in decades. There's 2 ways microsoft makes their money.
1. Azure, their actual money maker.
2. Office, which hasn't done anything exciting and new in decades and when they do make changes they're almost always for the worst.

If someone made a popular suite that worked better than office and started getting hype they'd be at risk of losing billions.

CoPilot always felt half baked, it basically was a skinned ChatGPT. PC Users don't want it. We want older windows where we can actually search things. Microsoft clearly didn't learn their lesson from Windows 8.

They hired Mustafa Suleyman (British-born, Syrian father), one of the founders of Deepmind, to be CEO of Microsoft AI. He in turn poached some other people from Google. But nothing that would make a difference in the chasm that exists between the two companies in terms of technical talent.

Google also just has much deeper pockets. they had 100 billion more in revenue than Microsoft in 2025. So they can hire and train the best people because they have more money.

Donald Trump just CONFIRMED that Tulsi Gabbard is involved

in the Fulton County 2020 election probe and says she was

PERSONALLY present during the FBI raid that SEIZED ballots.

The sitting president is OPENLY tying the intelligence chief to a local election
