I dont understand why I shouldn't expect trump to reject this bullshit considering he is a 1 term president who is here to drain the swamp

From where I sit nothing is changing. Everything you and I hate are being funded and the one person trying to stop it is being attacked relentlessly from Trump

The single most important thing is deportations - Trump and his team have stopped infinitely more funding than the trash amount in this bill.

That should matter.....
 
You've seen the hellscape that is Western Europe.

That didn't happen because of funding in a bill. That happened because of open borders and no deportations.

Lets get the most important thing done first. Everything else will follow.

Why not do both?

Or, at the very least, why try to remove the guy trying to stop funding things the entire country hates?

Because that guy is a key vote in stopping the funding of deportations. Its as simple as that.

Also the additional piece where he was silent on epstein files until Trump came into office. THat makes me somewhat suspicious of his motives.

As usual - Trumps responses aren't helpful but I have to take the bad with all the good we are seeing right now.

USAID stopping a good thing? DOGE installed at all levels of governemtn good? Firing an immense amount of federal workers good?

Only if you have a narrow minded view and realize the other spending that is needed can't pass without this in any sort of timely fashion.
