Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

I met a guy once who worked in car design for I believe Chrysler. He said that if emissions regulations were rolled back any percentage, fuel efficiency would increase a greater percentage. Basically saying that emissions control actually creates more emissions because of the inefficiency it creates. I’ve always wondered how accurate that is.
