He has cut 12% of the federal workforce since resuming the Presidency. I think that’s a pretty big success. He’s also managed to claw the Overton Window back to the right at a time that it was racing to the left.

There is plenty to dislike, but I saw Mitt Romney called a far right racist during his 2012 campaign. Trump adopted the Blue Dog Democrat platform of 20 years ago and has been labeled a fascist for it. At the very least he has shined a light on the crazy of the social progressives and will make life easier for Republicans for a few years. I don’t think RDS would have had as much success as he has without Trump being the boogeyman in everyone’s crosshairs, for example.

Fair…I do think the legacy of his court appointments will live on far longer, especially if he’s unable to codify things into law like the federal workforce reduction

Done plenty that I support but nothing seems lasting. We will also benefit from the border being secured for a while. I dont think a dem president has the ability to repeat what Biden did

He’s destroyed the idea some had that the border couldn’t be controlled (remember Biden’s defense of blaming Congress for not passing a bill?).

Whomever comes next will have a baseline to be measured against.
