Senate votes to let ISP's sell your browsing history without your consent.

No, I call your Platonic Ideal Libertarian Alternative a unicorn. I use that language because you propose these pat, easy--one might even say magical--solutions to problems, with the luxury that you've never had to actually test their success or failure IRL.

I wouldn't call that a luxury. We just ran a candidate who was a very successful Governor. How is that not a test of Libertarian principles?

Senator Sanders advocates for just such a model. I agree that it's the direction we should move, and one of the only ways to disturb the two-party duopoly (which is why most in both parties oppose it).

And I would have votes for Sanders if he was the nominee based on his opposition to the American Holocaust which is my #1,2, and 4 issues.

This is the sort of thing that gets slipped in when nobody is willing to venture outside their Dem or Repub bubble to get a little fresh air and allow some oxygen to get up there into their gray matter.

Remember that one radical Muslim out if CA a year or two ago (sorry there are so many I can't keep them separate anymore) who supposedly had incriminating evidence on his iphone and the FBI wanted to get a warrant to get Apple to open it so they could check and they weren't allowed to because of privacy issues? That makes this situation make SOOOOOO much more sense, right?

Also the perfect day to sign it when Susan Rice is the distraction for the day.

So instead they hired an Israeli cyber-defense firm and paid them over a million dollars to do it.

no, we wouldn't be talking about it because I understand the process and function of wiretaps
b) Obama never hired a campaign manager that worked for Russia

I have to believe that if a former Bush team member had been doing this to Obama you wouldn't be using the term "distraction". ;)

Trump apologists argue natsec adviser wanting to know who is colluding w massive Russian active measures plan is doing something wrong

I am going to go out on a limb and say I don't think you know who Jennifer Rubin is

No, but he does have a person in the form of Susan Rice that seems to have trouble with the truth. Like I said if she was working for Bush and had done this to Obama you would be going spastic.

Yeah, she's a left winger who pretends to be a right winger for the Washington Post.

Limb stronger than I thought

Maybe down the road on a slow afternoon we can start a thread called educating Garmel.

1) NSA does not go one TV and say everything he/she knows
2) This would not have happened to Obama. In fact, this has never happened before
3) Take some time to learn the process of when and how wiretaps happen. Then learn there are a multitude of wiretaps for different reasons
4) learn who is privy to the information garnered in this form of surveillance
5) Jennifer Rubin has been a conservative columnist since before you ... (insert verb of choice)
no, uber conservative.

When people who talk "Trump's collusion with Russia" without any evidence really isn't worth taking seriously. Perhaps that will change and evidence will be produced but as of now I can't take people like that seriously.

I've seen a lot of Rubin's columns. She's not a conservative. However, if you want to believe that more power to you. You educating me? Dude, you don't know anything except whatever those goofy websites you follow tell you to parrot.

No, she's simply sinned against goodthink. The Trump Era has kind of broken my frame of reference for what a conservative is, but I submit that maybe you didn't read any Jennifer Rubin columns from 2008-2016.
