We can't call him up until he's 24 so we can control him until he's 30 per Enscheff

Or maybe just wait until they can control him until he's 27. You know, when the Braves are actually in contention.

Poor attempt at a straw man argument there bud. You get a C-.

If he keeps hitting like he has so far I can see that. Would be controlled through age 27. Same as Albies if we held out for two weeks next year.

I think the right move is to call him up if they are above .500 in July and he is playing well in AAA. Otherwise, I'd hold him in AAA through early 2018.

The White Sox are also currently 11-9 with first/second/third order win totals of 11, 9, and 10. So far they have demonstrated the ability to be a .500 or better team, and if they continue to do so, could be a fringe WC contender in a very evenly matched AL.

I'm sure this is completely lost on the posi-Braves derptards, but if a team is in contention late in the season, it is justifiable to call up an impact prospect to make the team better.

Contrast that with the Braves, who are 8-12 with first/second/third order wins all equal to 8. They have almost zero chance to be contending for a WC spot, and would be foolish to start Albies clock, just like they were foolish to call up Swanson.

The posi-Braves still won't understand, but oh well.

LOL.. The white sox have 8 of their wins against the Twinkies and a very bad Royals squad. They have as much chance of the playoffs as the Braves do.. Something you posi-sox just don't see.

my take on moncada and Albies is the same...if they are playing well come July and their team is over .500 it would be fine to call them up...assuming there is a spot in the lineup for them

I think this is the take of every rational person.

It is irrational to call up a guy when none of those conditions are true, which is exactly what happened with Hair.

And I think the Sox will be under .500 when they call him up this year. maybe I enjoy crow.. but that is my thought.
