Should the CCP be able to own US Farmland ?

Is it ok for the CCP to own US farmland ?

Pretty straight forward. Had a client talk with me last week about some neighboring land that sold to Bill Gates and then to CCP 5 or 6 years later that borders him. It seems that they are actively buying up whatever they can get.

Is that ok with this board ?
 
No, and not just no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, I'm against corporations owning US farmlands, not family-owned businesses that file as corporations, just the kind that get the worst reps and deservedly so IMO.
 
Our investment policy should mirror what China allows our investors to do over there. I believe there is an investment for us, so shouldn't there be for China? Imo we need to do something about China leveraging their market to censor people. We need a policy that anytime China retaliates against a US company or persons for saying something bad about China or Xi we fine them the amount they cost the US company. We enforce the finest by confiscating some of their US assets. China needs us more than we need them and we need to leverage that. Our economy would hurt without China but their economy is a giant bubble that will burst without exporting shut to us.
