Still don't think they'll go there without exhausting every other possible alternative. Sending him down so early in camp indicates they're not ready to add him, and I can't imagine he's had enough time to change their minds since they're not actually playing games anywhere else yet.

I agree that he’s not a real possibility for the major-league roster at this time—but it bears repeating that he was injured this spring, which is why he didn’t play, thus indicating little about the team’s readiness to promote him.
