I think we could have extent him but no, we didn't even discuss it with him. Instead we're stuck with folks who actually post consistently. Those posts may only be singles and not homers like Mike hit; but, at least they are posts which extent threads. Now if we can lock up some good, talented, young posters we'll be set.
 
I'll miss Mike Adams, I think he left the board because of his kids and wanting to spend more times on more productive things. Can't really blame him.

Mike wants a multi-year deal but I'm told he's holding out. May have to settle in spring training like Santana.
 
Look, anytime you can acquire a poster the caliber of Mike Adams you have to do it, you absolutely have to do it, but when you look at the dynamic of this board, and look towards the future, it becomes pretty apparant we can't go forward with the same mentallity. Look, we got posters on here already with the ability of Mike, but look anytime you have a chance to be able to use an asset like that to further enhance and build the board with depth, you have to do it. Look, it's a tough decesion. Look, we feel like we can have the best posting experience ever with the current core and group that we have, but look we also got to look at looking towards the new board, which will be filled with something that all of us that have never seen before. Look, it's our assumption that Mike wants to be here, but look there are other factors in play here. Look, he's the right poster at the wrong time. Look, as time changes and the dynamic of the board changes he might be the right poster at the right time, at which we will take a look at bringing him on board, but it could also be one of those deals, where look he might be the wrong poster at the right time.

It has nothing to do with kids. I have them 3, one is an adult the other 2, 6 and 4, they do not take any of my time and they have no bearing on this board. I rarely post when I am active when they are so that is not an excuse. He probably had too much other things on is plate. I reached out to him and he never responded. We play the same online games but he quit and never responded. If he hates to post, that is his right.

Safe to say, he might come back, just a feeling. But we need peeps who are close to him to bring him the fold.
 
I would love to see Mike come back. There are some on this board that I remember saying Happy New Year in the big Y2K scare. Mike was always level headed in his posts, but I think he did leave to spend more time with his family. But he'd be a great addition again.

He knows it. He does not have to be a mod, he can type his feelings without pissing off management.

This is a free board. If I can't censor you because of Paddio, you know you are. Personally, I hated that the man made me do things I don't want to and pissed off a lot of people, but Dan is not Cool, Running, Cy, they are cool with me and understand and pretty much forgive me. Those three hated my guts because I was forced to do things I didn't want to do.

The tennis star and admin of this board is awesome and Mike should be happy to join a board where everyone could voice their opinion without being banned or censored. Well porn stuff will be censored but guys here have more intelligence than that.
