Sign in here if you are done watching baseball

I am not done watching baseball, but with this news about the team disrespecting Chipper (on top of everything else), I am close to done watching the Braves.

Bye then. More overreaction from you. We don't need you.

I certainly wont be setting time aside to watch any more baseball, but will flip the channel over to it every once in awhile. Its just too boring and time consuming without my team being involved (unless we see a Verlander/Kershaw Game 7 of the WS - I'll tune in for that)

To be honest, I'd rather they not make it to the postseason every year than to keep going and turning into a big fat pumpkin every time. It's getting old and tiresome. A big letdown every time.

I have been following this team since 1972. I was 12 years old, the first game I ever listened to Hank Aaron hit a HR to pass Willie Mays on the all-time list. In the years between 1971 and 1991 we lost 90 or more games some 12 or 13 times, above .500 only 4 times. Yes, it is a big letdown (again) but I would rather have this than the futility I witnessed until I was in my 30's.

I am a Braves fan, not a baseball fan. Since the 90's, I don't even know who won the World Series in a lot of years. I lived in the San Francisco Bay area (Menlo Park) for a number of years, and my sister still lives out there. She's now a Giants fan and she was talking about the Giants winning the World Series recently, and I said, "Wait, the Giants won the World Series?", and I was being serious. I'm sure I heard when it happened, but I just wasn't paying any attention. So, no, I won't be watching. It's not that I'm angry or bitter, I'm just not interested.
