Simmons dealt to Angels for two top pitchers, Aybar

IF you like quantity then yes. The guy we got tonight is the first possible impact player we acquired.

Which guy? Like Aybar the SS or both top 10 pitchers?

They could all be impact guys, how could you possibly know that... Right now?

So reading on Ellis. Looks like I initially undervalued him. Many are placing him top 7-10 with us- above guys like Sims. That's surprising to me, and helps.

Braves have already received 3 calls on Aybar so far. We don't have a decent replacement so it'll be interesting to see if we flip him or not.

IMO this is a must flip.

We have money to spend but nobody to spend it on. I think they'll extend miller but that's an aside.

Eat aybars money. Trade him to a ss needy team as a avg ss for free. Get a b prospect.

Jace can play ss. Not well but he won't embarrass himself. Oliver's to 2b where he might embarrass himself but bat will play better.

Flip him, sign Rollins as a stop gap. Maybe make a move for Desmond to play SS until Albies is ready then move him to 2B or 3B.

You know what I mean. Sean is the only prospect we have gotten back since the start of last off season that would be considered top shelf. Most of the criticism of the trades is that we went with quantity instead of quality.

Ryan McMahon of the Rockies is the 3b I'd target. He's blocked by Arenado and is pegged as a future gold glover and middle of the order bat. The Rockies need pitching as always so I'm sure we would match up well on a deal. He should be ready to start 2017.

Braves are thinking outside the box. Acquire so much pitching that we'll go with a 15 man pitching staff. Gamble on scoring runs early and then using all the pitching to shutdown from innings 4-9. You CA have reliever rotations like you have for starters. These 3 relievers pitch this day this 3 pitch this day these 3 this day and a long man.

With the game the way it is today, if I have a player blocked at a position, and the blocked player has middle order/gold glove potential,I'm moving that player somewhere in the field. You can't buy offense
