Expects Yuge Games
I think she is an effective senator and it is to the discredit of the Democratic Party that she has felt compelled to change her registration to independent.

I say that even while disagreeing with her on certain things, especially her championing of the carried interest loophole.

It sets up an interesting senate race in AZ in 2024. Murkowski has shown how an incumbent can navigate a middle path. But AZ and AK are pretty different in terms of political dynamics.

according to her constituents she really isn't an effective /senator
General consensus is she changed her affiliation to avoid having to answer for statewide unfavorables in primary. This has been rumored since last winter

funny thing I learned yesterday, Manchin was given a seat at leadership table.
Apparently Sinema was passed over

she has assured leadership she will continue to caucus with (D) ala Sanders, Murkowski and the guy from Maine
while being courted daily by Mitch
Nominating Herschel Walker was a very big deal
and a mistake (R) will have to deal with for a generation

Not once in this long soliloquy does Sinema offer a single concrete value or policy she believes in. She lays out no goals for Arizonans, no vision, no commitments.

It’s “no healthcare, just vibes” for Senate.

People deserve more. Grateful this race & nomination has opened up.

In a natural extension of my service since I was first elected to Congress, I have joined the growing numbers of Arizonans who reject party politics by declaring my independence from the broken partisan system in Washington and formally registering as an Arizona Independent. 1/3

She is trying to hop onto the uniparty that will try to emerge pushing out populists on both sides of the aisle.

Just want to keep the status quo in check for these people while Americans suffer.

People are reading too much into this. The simple fact is she wouldnt even be on the 2024 ballot for Senate because she would get clobbered in a primary if she didnt switch to independent.

it is a shame that someone of her views has no chance in the democratic primary

I honestly dont know her positions, but if Trump somehow wins in 2024 and Republicans get a majority in both sides of Congress she is going to be public enemy #1 when Republicans kill the filibuster.

Kyrsten Sinema's official spin is that the two-party system is broken,

and virtue lies in standing outside as an independent.

I hate that kind of thinking.

Virtue, for me, lies in fighting to make the two parties better.

just used honor when referring to the US Senate in the same sentence !!!~!

I once read the US Senate is a room of 100 rivals for the POTUS
/////////////////

she was to be primaried and not by the DNC but the Arizona (D) party
That is why she switched
let's not read to much into the Senator's allegiance to honor
