Creed is diet corporate Pearl Jam.
They're bad. THey have talented musicians in the band but basically any successful act has talented musicians. Watch the documentary Hired Guns. YOu'll see talent for the guys who aren't big enough to break through like a guitarist who was eventually hired by Alice Cooper and wound up in Five Finger Death Punch was touring guitarist for Hillary Duff and Mandy Moore. Many elite musicians never get a break.
Haha same. I'll even throw Nickelback in that group. None of them are anywhere close to my favorite but I won't hit the skip button when they show up on Spotify.
It's hard not to get pumped up when Break Stuff or Rollin comes on. Takes me back to high school days.
Their first album, My Own Prison, was genuinely a good album. Nothing really formulaic about that one. Human Clay put them on the national map, but aside from a couple of songs, it wasn't that good of an album. Weathered was basically a copy/paste of Human Clay, but I still enjoy One Last Breath quite a bit. But My Sacrifice might as well have been a remixed version of Higher.

UHF is a brilliant absurdist comedy.
THere's little bad about it.
A better IMO example of a bad movie that's good from that era would be like Bloodsport.

I like how the Expendables just slightly reinvented that genre of films and the critics ate it up after hating all over Bloodsport, Over the Top, etc. it's amazing the nostagia bomb.
