So True (shout out to my fellow millenials)

Nope, just love sweeping generalizations. And of course the latest generation of technology chicken littles.

uh

i don't think it is a generalization

the generation that is always on their phone sucks. experience life instead of looking at life through your cellphone

Again, technology chicken little. How cute you're pretending to be more mature than you actually are though.

In my experience, said generation is very much defined as "people alive right now" and very much not "people of a certain age."

Every generation probably since the dawn of fire, has said the same thing about technology. You dont' think people didn't say the same thing about books? or record players? or any other tech ever. It's the same thing as this generation being worse than the last generation or sluttier, or whatever.

Or as the Boss put it "Yeah, just sitting back trying to recapture little of the glory of, well time slips away and leaves you with nothing mister but boring stories of glory days"

Pining for the past or criticizing a generation because they do things differently is just that, letting time slip away. I'm not a fan of the people who live through their camera, but I don't criticize a whole generation, infact there's a massive sector of the millenials who are very anti-living through their phone. Not that you'd notice or care. It's easier to just make sweeping generalizations.
