SO..What will be the name of the new stadium?

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Frankly I could care less about the name, but it needs a retractable roof. Eliminate rainouts period. For those of us that have to really travel it would be nice to gaurantee baseball.

A retractable roof stadium outside Atlanta would be one of the absolute biggest wastes of money the organization could make - there were a total of 15 rainouts in Atlanta between 2001 and 2011,

It'll be called. Fredi Field with a big giant....

:fredi:

...on top of the scoreboard.

Along with our division/NL/World Series pennants, there will be Luis Avilan's left arm.

Well I won't make the 7.5 hour drive when my time and gas money may end up wasted. All stadiums need retractable roofs. Period.

The cost of a retractable roof to install is like nearly 200M That's not including maintenance. Basically you're ensuring 200 M to recoup in say 3 years, if you drew 40000 fans a season, you'd have to upcharge 20 bucks a ticket. If you reduce that charge to say 5 bucks a ticket it would take 12.2 years to pay that off.

For the under 2 rainouts a year, that doesn't sound like a good tradeoff to me as a fan? You may be bummed out if it happens when you make a long trip down, but the local fans will be less likely to show up.

No offense to you as a fan cause the Braves obviously want it. But the guys who show up to 82 home games outweigh the stadium concerns of the guys who show up to 10.
