So who plays RF?

Another player I wouldn't mind taking a look at for RF is Josh Reddick.

Justin, Carpenter, Avilan, and Graham to Oakland for Gray, Reddick, O'Flaherty, and Jaso.

One of my thoughts earlier in the post-season was to trade La Stella for Jaso, but La Stella went elsewhere. I still like the idea of Jaso on the Braves.

I think this would be a good trade for both sides, although with Heyward gone, we need J. Upton's offense.

I think there's a deal with the M's that brings Michael Saunders back. Maybe Justin Upton, David Carpenter, and a prospect for Walker and Saunders.

Oswaldo Arcia and Domingo Santana are two other names to throw out there.

Jaso is perfect for this team, especially now with Gattis moving to left. I also love Gray. One of my favorite pitchers. He reminds me of a healthy Beachy.

I have a slight allergy to short RH power pitchers, but Gray looks solid.

After thinking about our RF situation I think Alex Rios would be a great fit. Hits for high .AVG, and shouldn't cost a lot... possibly 1 year/$7.5 million with a mutual option for 2016 at $8 million. He would be another similar option to Aoki but with a little more pop.

Someone who can put up a good OBP and can play solid defense. Not garbage like Alex Rios.

Last 3 seasons:

2012- .304 AVG with 21 HR, 91 RBI's and 23 SB
2013- .278 AVG with 18 HR, 81 RBI's and 42 SB
2014- .280 AVG with 4 HR, 54 RBI's and 17 SB

Far from garbage in my opinion.

Career .323 OBP and 100 wRC+. Not to mention subpar defense. Garbage.

BJ had a higher WAR than Rios did last year. BJ Upton...

One example to why some people don't like WAR. I'm not an Alex Rios fan, but he sure as hell is better than bj.

Barely. .311 OBP vs .287. We're arguing which pile of crap is better though. I'd rather tank with Terdo making no money then to tank with Rios making any kind of money.

Sucks for you. I'd hate to live in a world where Alex Rios is a possible option for RF.
Interesting post.

If hate to live in a world where a stat that's trusted as gospel shows that a guy is worse than Beej.

That is probably Frank Wren's go to number.

Interesting post.

If hate to live in a world where someone actually believes that guy is worse than Beej.

There is probably a 12 step program Frank Wren has founded for that affliction.

Well I know that there's some who believe that offense is the only thing that happens throughout a baseball game but defense and baserunning are important to some. I know, I know, defense and baserunning aren't important. Alex Rios adds nothing to anyone's team. Take the money element out and BJ still has value as a defender and baserunner despite not being able to hit a lick. Rios has declined in power and his K's are going up. Not to mention he has never been good at getting on base to begin with. It's not hard to understand when you get past "Beej sucks, lulz." and use a little logic.
