So you believe what Newsom is doing is justified, moreso than DeSantis?

DeSantis is targeting a private company by removing a special privilege they have, that no other company has in the state, due to their political beliefs.

Newsome is targeting a private company by refusing to do business with them unless they change their politics.

One seems much worse than the other to me... But we seem to disagree on which one.

Why is removing special privileges bad but refusing any business good?

I think Newsome is allowed to shop out contracts on things the state purchased, more than Desantis can selectively change how parts of his state are governed, but again, don't care if Desantis wants to do that. It's just funny to me.

THe problem is that FLorida has multiple special districts. As long as the law is applied equally it's fine. Will it be? Probably not.

Again for like the 5th time I don't care in either example. NEwsome is moving a contract knowing Walgreens isn't going to change because they're taking care of themselves

But from a general logistic standpoint, what Newsome is doing is much simpler and cleaner. Governments can change who they have contracts whenever the hell they want.

No, he's attempting to shed the light on states threatening Walgreens to remove the pill and using a massive contract as the weight for it.

Walgreens is allowed to operate in California as it always has. If that winds up not being the case we can revisit this discussion.
