San Francisco has been on the verge of collapse for years. THey were propped up by the Silicon Valley bubble. But as people don't really need to live near SIlicon Valley they'll go somewhere that isn't stupid expensive to live in. Coupled with the fact that housing is retarded in SF. Being "down" housing in SF is 1000 dollars per square foot. If you compare it to say Austin, which is 320. New York 588, San Diego 639. LA 611.
