Some Red State/Blue State Indicia

California recently...

- Passed a law reducing penalties on adults to have sex with minors as young as 14 years old

- has been unable to power half their state due to disastrous green regulations

- has been unable to contain massive wildfires due to mismanagement of their parks

- passed a disastrous labor law resulting in tens of thousands of lost jobs over night, plus requiring the two largest private transportation companies to shut down operations in the state (until a court bailed them out)

- mandated the power shut off of private homes due to having people over

- threatend a hair salon for exposing the hypocrisy of the speaker of the house

- leads the country in unfunded liabilities

- has lost population since 2014

- its largest media company recently launched a movie of 11 year old children sex dancing

Its been a banner year for California's leadership

Is there a red state university whose graduates generate that kind of economic dynamism and wealth creation? I am aware of several other blue state universities that come close, and one that probably surpasses Stanford in terms of wealth creation from companies started up by its alums.

Are these things accidents of geography? I think not.

at the moment im focused on the current government of the largest state in the union.

Is there another state that requires its citizens to unplug their toasters at 3pm in order to power their homes?

then you can have the mississippis and arkansas and west virginias...they are more your speed...

You seem awfully upset at questioning why this amazing state requires people to unplug their toasters in order to preserve power.

Might be trending in the wrong direction.

Make California Great Again

Just to be clear, I posted several things the California government has done just this year, and your only response has been that Stanford is a great school - of which I agree.

Feel free to comment on the subject at hand rather than averting your gaze to the destruction your party is doing to a once great state

Btw, have you downloaded the human feces locator app yet? I hear it comes in handy out there

sorry to be pedantic...should read "with which I agree"

For reference, of the top 10 states in lowest unemployment rate, 7 out of 10 are led by Republican governors
