Why? I mean I don't care. I think it's useless and doesn't achieve anything and th epeople clutching their pearls on both sides are dumb. But this is a plaster replica statue being removed Nov 2021, this isn't something that should be talked about as if it was happening like Sturg's post and the OP's Tweet indicated.
 
Sturg was repeatedly mocked years ago for saying this is the aburdity highway we were headed down.
