Some Red State/Blue State Indicia

I encourage the communists outraged at their inability to eat fake chemical meat to move back to California and fight the homeless for it

I'm just glad to see you cheer on a governemnt entity protecting its citizens (or at least attempting to do so - I don't think thats happening here but A for effort for RDS).

I think it's appropriate for states to ban things like crystal meth and fake lab grown meat

I think its appropritae for State/Federal governements to do a lot of things to protect their citizens. But at least we can agree there are some things.

I also encourage the leftists to eat a product that has no long term lab testing.

Yes. I don't believe in stealing from some to fund government projects that never work. But states have more legal authority to do such things if they want

I'm well aware of what you believe - Just encouraged to see that if RDS does something anti-libertarian you support it.

They call that something.....

I'm not a libertarian anymore. I'm a libertarian who supports authoritarian measures to increase libertarianism

Banning lab meat doesn't increase spending. It doesn't steal from tax payers. And it won't be a useless endeavor in incentivizing good behavior

Bravo!

I'm also a capitalist who supports authoritarian measures to maintain a semblence of competition.

Welcome to team sanity.

We have the largest entitlement program in the history of the world.

Half the population do not pay taxes.

It's not working

We spend astronomical amounts of money supporting the rest of the world and the third world thats here illegally.

We have to have welfare for so many becasue we decided it was smart to enrich a communist dictatorship.

I agree the status quo makes welfare programs unsustainable.

Immigration is a huge problem for this country for many reasons.

But it's not what is bankrupting us

Regardless, I supported the candidate who I believed most equipped to tackle imigration effectively. Alas, he did not win

I’m not informed, but I find this a tad too performantive by Ron for my taste

Same. Lab grown meat doesn’t crack my top 100 issues, and I haven’t bothered to follow this story, but my instinct would be against the ban. Require the companies to inform consumers what’s in their food, don’t subsidize anyone, and stay out of the way. Feels like this is nothing more than an assist to cattle farmers wrapped up in culture war packaging to sell to the base.

A Brooklyn state senator claims the law allowing a rape lawsuit against him to move forward was unconstitutional — even though he actually voted for the legislation and then bragged about it.

In court records filed this month, notoriously hot-headed pol Kevin Parker formally denied the rape allegations against him. But he also went a step further, asserting that the Adult Survivors Act, which allowed the related lawsuit against him to proceed, was unconstitutional.

The now-expired act permitted alleged victims to file civil lawsuits against their accused attackers within a certain window even if the state’s statute of limitations had run out on their claims.
