I'm excited to see where this one goes.

2 strikes and you’re out. There is no reduced sentencing, there are strict and harsh minimum sentences, there is no parole or early release for good behavior, there is a mandatory 40 hour work week for all prison inmates and it’s physical labor. Whether that’s picking up trash, busting rocks, hoeing a garden, or cleaning stalls. There are no tv antennas or cable tv connections, only educational videos checked out from a library.

Race is unmentioned in this proposal. This proposal would still draw claims of racism.

It would also still fail at the biggest current point of failure, leftist judges and DAs. That’s the obstacle to a safer America right now and I don’t see a good way around it besides our left of center countrymen removing their heads from their asses. Desantis found a slight workaround with charging someone at the state level if locals wouldn’t do it, but I find any plan that gives the federal government more power over its citizens to be distinctly un-American.
