Some Red State/Blue State Indicia

The Confederacy was right about everything except slavery, and let's not pretend that the northern states were pushing to free slaves and raise their raw material costs until that was the only way to keep the southern states under their thumb.

I haven't seen sturg push for slavery.

Can confirm. I'm not interested in slavery.

I am very much interested in moving away from the race based discrimination and sometimes downright segregation the leftists are installing throughout the country.

Behind the pay wall. But I understand that. Mass exoduses leave opportunities for people who want to buy on the cheaper.

From december

Millions of people have moved out of New York City during the pandemic, but at the same time, millions of others with lower incomes have taken their place, according to a study released on Tuesday.

All told, a net 70,000 people left the metropolitan region this year, resulting in roughly $34 billion in lost income, according to estimates from Unacast here a location analytics company.

About 3.57 million people left New York City this year between Jan. 1 and Dec. 7, according to Unacast, which analyzed anonymized cell phone location data. Some 3.5 million people earning lower average incomes moved into the city during that same period, the report showed.

I'm curious to see if the work from home revolution does anything to metro populations. Fewer people are going to be tied to cities for work now. I can't imagine wanting to live in one for any other reason, but I know some folks feel differently.

I expect the trend sturg outlined to continue. Lots of middle and upper middle class leaving and being replaced by lower incomes who will benefit more from the expanded government services. Of course, that often leads to urban decay and higher crime, and those who can afford to leave, leaving. We will see.

If I could guarantee to keep my current job I'd be down with you guys right now.

I'm working on them.

Prices north of Cumming have skyrocketed. That GA/TN/NC corner area is one I would like to be in but it's untouchable right now

Yeah i called my empty nested in laws crazy for building a huge house 3 years ago, but they are saying they could likely get another 250,000 over what they built for it right now. They are in cumming.

Doesn't help the urban sprawl is heading that way as well. The good and the bad.

You'd be fine based with one of the big 3 in ATL. I'd get out there.

They don't pay nearly as well as my current employer unless you are at partner level.

That type of work is also not something I want to get into anymore.

I'll be there or Budapest soon. Actually calling the embassy today to understand what I would need to do to get permanent residency.

Tell me again how Russia interfered with the election. The visual here is bad enough, but check out the universal lack of integrity shown in the comments.

Pulling out all the stops so that the progressive home base is not lost to common sense.
