Lots of history too. If you are into the Revolutionary War Morristown and Princeton are must visits. And both btw are great places to live (including neighboring towns). I highly recommend Madison, a college town right next to Morristown. For a while, the Giants trained there. I ran into Hostetler and Jumbo Elliot at a McDonalds once.

True. Lately Tennessee and South Carolina have seen a surge. I like both states. Beautiful scenery and low cost of living. If I retire in this country, I'd consider places like Charleston and Savannah. But I'm probably going to go abroad at least for a few years. Depends in part on who produces grandchildren and where.
In certain places the electorate does not view population growth as a good thang and the political system responds to that.
