This is the correct stance - Weed should 100% not be legalized and we need to make a complete U-Turn on what states have done.

That's tremendous. California must be swimming in budget surplusses and endless energy. It would reflect poorly of its political ideology to not be thriving with the world's largest companies sitting in its backyard
 
I would say it is not entirely an accident. The Cal university system is a marvel. Furthermore, California attracts large numbers of phenomenally talented and well educated and creative immigrants who add enormously to their economy (I've expressed my pleasure in another thread at Donald Trump articulating his understanding and approval of this process. For some reason, y'all don't want to discuss it.).

Other states are free to follow a different model. But it would be hubristic not to try to figure out California's secret sauce. Just as it would be hubristic on California's part not to try to learn from other states and countries.

I give Donald Trump credit for understanding that immigration is part of California's secret sauce. The CEO's of companies like Google and NVIDIA are but a symbolic manifestation of a much deeper contribution by other immigrants.

That California has all these advantages, and talent, and education, and big business and technology, yet still can't keep the toasters plugged in during the summer should have the residents there revolting
 
Innovators and business titans decided to make silicon valley the technology hub of the world back in the old days when California was a reliably red state. Apple, HP, countless others felt the political backdrop was favorable.

California started moving left about 30 years ago, right around NVDA being born. It took a mere 2 decades before the state has been politically destroyed.

In 2024, tech and big business are fleeing the state for the first time in history, along with the citizens.

Didn't take long for leftists to destroy something so great
