In all seriousness, if californians had a moment of honesty, do you think they would retroactively swap Newsom for DeSantis?

Or do you think they are too far gone? And believe that RDS is burning books so they'd prefer burning homes instead?

What does mqt, nsacpi, 57 and zito think? Would RDS have handled this better or no?

On this question, can any leftist willing to still show their face here explain to me how Newsom has been a positive factor in the situation?

No I don't think RDS would have handled this better. I don't think Newsome handled it well either. What specific thing do you think could have been done? And you think RDS would have done those? Reality is that this was a generational storm, I wouldn't blame RDS for a rough recovery after a CAT 5 hurricane.

So it's safe say your position is that literally nothing could have been done to make it better?

I thin RDS would have ensured the reservoirs were full. I think he would have ensured a competent fire department leader (his Florida disaster guy is awesome).

I think he would not have run off insurance companies

I think he would have ensured the forest management was done annually

I think he would have looked up criminals who are now setting additional fires

I think he would have had water in the hydrants

I think he would have gas powered firetrucks operating

I think he would have activated the national guard soon er

I think he would have ample housing for refugees that weren't filled with drug addicted immigrants

So yeah I think it would have been infinitely better. But it appears you believe nothing could have been done

Very amusing that in BLs senile post rant last night that he uncovered how much crime in Oklahoma is being committed by non whites. Glad he brought up this very important data point.
