If yall could flip Newsom for Desantis, would you do it?

If not, are you betting California outperforms Florida in 5 years? What criteria do you care about?

Also in what world does removing a parent from the child make the child more safe unless they're actively harming them?
 
The New England aesthetic has a lot to recommend itself. I think it is to the credit of other parts of the country that they recognize it.

Some of it is not even located in this country. The "Anne of Green Gables" look is idealized around the world, and the setting for that is Prince Edward Island in Canada.

…or the type of people who gravitate toward low-paying and low-status jobs like civil servants and teachers also tend to have a set of character traits that have become associated more with the modern political left. Basically everyone *can* go into one of these professions. But I think you might have the causal relationship between progressives and these institutions backwards.
