The sole reasoning I've heard is " Well i didn't really have a choice" but the party you are actively supporting makes everything worse.

  • San Jose: Coactive AI, Figure AI, Lambda (3).
  • Palo Alto: Glean, SambaNova, Vannevar Labs, xAI (Elon Musk's company, 4 total here but wait—xAI is Palo Alto).
  • Redwood City: Fireworks AI, Snorkel AI (2).
  • Mountain View: Windsurf (1).

United States (non-California) — 10 companies​

Why do you suppose they choose California?

Listing of priorities would be helpful here:
 
Fortunately for red states the technological spillovers they will be receiving are substantial. No flowers or thank you notes expected.
 
That’s just a list of companies soon to move out of California at this point

No one believes California is thriving

They house all the homeless people though. I’ll send Gavy a Thank you note , because ending Homelessness was his campaign promise in like 2015!

There is a famous fake Mark Twain quote: The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.

I happen to like San Francisco weather. But it is not for everyone.
