Emergency Snow Shovelers​

Get paid to help keep New Yorkers safe after winter storms.

Emergency Snow Shovelers are called on after heavy snowfalls to remove snow and ice citywide from public areas like bus stops, crosswalks and fire hydrants, and step streets.

We recruit temporary, per diem (by day) shovelers as needed.

Pay starts at $19.14 per hour and increases to $28.71 per hour after the first 40 hours worked in a week.

To be eligible, applicants must be:

  • At least 18 years old
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Able to perform heavy physical labor
To register for an appointment, workers must have:

  • Two small photos (1-1/2 inch square)
  • Two original forms of ID, plus copies
  • Social Security card

They’re using that tax money to pay these people for their labor in order to provide public services so that people don’t have to shovel themselves out. And by doing it this way, they’re paying temporary day labor instead of staffing additional city employees or needing additional contracts to get the work done. This is like the exact opposite of how it’s being framed here and seems like an effective way to take advantage of their large population for a storm.

Basically the leftist mindset is

"Demonize the productive and peaceful of society and protect and defend the worst of society at all costs"

This woman should be arrested and jailed. Doing so would lead to weeks of protests

Difficult to understand the rational of anything they believe

This is getting so fucking obnoxious and repetitive that I’m beginning to hate posting in this damn forum. In the marketplace of ideas, I frequently just don’t have the desire to argue about how we should sentence child molesters. It does not mean I’m afraid to have a debate or that I explicitly or implicitly support something. I just don’t want to do it.

Of course you don’t want to talk about - because you’ll go along with whatever the party says becuse you’ll keep voting for them regardless of how crazy they get
