i'm not in favor of fraud eitherLooks like i wont vote for Trump again
Its actually a government problem that you are perfectly ok withi'm not in favor of fraud either
just thought i would note this a lot worse on the Republican side
a lot of rich white people (hello Brett Favre) have supped at the trough
You sure are quiet about certain types of itIm not ok with it whether perpetrated by dark-skinned immigrants or well-connected white folks
I just don't use it to demonize groups I don't like or to justify my ideological zeal to gut the social safety net
These questions have been asked for months without a taker. Can anyone point to any policies thats dems push that actually work?
If i were asked this directly and unable to point to a single thing id start to question why i continue to vote for itThese questions have been asked for months without a taker.
But keep it up Dems! Your doing great!
Housing is more expensive in blue states. I support various permitting reforms that would increase the supply of housing blue states. I think this would have very large beneficial effects
1. Why doesnt the entirely controlled Dem government do a policy to increase housing?Housing is more expensive in blue states. I support various permitting reforms that would increase the supply of housing blue states. I think this would have very large beneficial effects
But there is a demand side too. People have a greater desire and ability to pay more to live in blue states. To the extent to which this is the case, I think it is red states who need to consider what it is they could do to boost incomes and the desirability of living in their communities.
They should. It is bad policy on their part. Just like their overly close alliance with teachers unions often results in bad educational policy. I have no trouble seeing where the Democrats fail.1. Why doesnt the entirely controlled Dem government do a policy to increase housing?
This is mostly a phenomenon involving older people.2.ypu keep saying more people want to live there but then ignore the fact that more people are leaving than coming
Gavin Newsome is the first governor in californias history who saw more people leave than come to his state. This is mostly a phenomenon involving older people.
The biggest losers of younger college-educated residents in 2023 were states like South Dakota (-72% net), Mississippi (-67%), Louisiana (-62%), Oklahoma (-62%), and Alabama (-45%) — predominantly deep-red states with weak urban economies. Meanwhile, Washington state had three times as many college graduates move in as move out — the highest net ratio of all states.
To the extent younger well-educated people migrate to red states it is to cities that look a lot like blue states in their politics: Austin, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Charlotte, Raleigh, Orlando, Nashville, Phoenix, etc.
