You should start putting a +- with weekly change. I know Mississippi is going down as we're getting through our bad period. Maine seems to be on the up

You don’t understand his trolling game if you’re asking that.

He knows what he does with data.

Red states need to keep passing laws like this. Create a safe haven for freedom loving patriots.

Let’s see which states become the most productive and where business flocks to.

Sure mississippi is way down (25%) in the past week. The lows in the lightly vaccinated states seem to always exceed the highs in the highly vaccinated ones.

All the highly vaccinated states saw declines in hospitalization rates in the past week except for Vermont (up 8%). An 8% increase of a small number is another small number.

Alabama and Mississippi are coming down fast from previously very high hospitalization rates. West Virginia, Idaho and Wyoming are just starting to edge down. West Virginia and Wyoming are down 1% from a week ago. A 1% reduction of a big number is still a big number. Kind of like a 300 lb dude losing a couple pounds. Congrats to the dude, but don't stop now. Vermont otoh is like that cross country skier who has 2% body fat. He just put on a couple pounds. Chances are those two pounds will be coming off pretty fast.

For those of y'all who are unsure...June, July, August and September did actually happen...they weren't a dream or a figment of someone's imagination...oregon and hawaii offer their thanks to those of y'all who were sufficiently awake to express concern during this period

covid deaths over the past four months...darker means more

Yeah it’s hot in the summer and we have an invasion at the sourthern border

Not hard to figure out for those being intellectually honest.

But bit how are things going down???? They didn't throw the kitchen sink like you proposed, so how did the trend change so radically?

While also doing quite the opposite and just fully embracing life and freedom.

A sine wave looks like this:

sine-wave-clipart.jpg

It oscillates up and down. As covid has done in every jurisdiction.

Such curves also have an average value. With covid and public policy, the average value is really what matters. The ups and downs are interesting. But they are the bright shiny object that distracts from what is really important.

But y'all know that.

You want peaks if you know anything about how to get rid of respiratory viruses.

You just aren't interested in established science anymore.

Hey look - I can now make comparison to geographies that have little to nothing in common with each other.

I'm an honest man -nsacpi

It just seems refreshing to know that curves can down whether a kitchen sink is instituted or not.

Maybe that's an argument for not killing the bill of rights?
