It should be noted that even before covid the gap between blue and red states on basic health indicators including life expectancy had been widening.
Yep
Thanks Katrina

A “data” guy that continually draws the wrong conclusions for data sets. Interesting.
What can I say. It never occurred to me that the Libs of Wyoming were driving its suicide rate.
Better to have lost a few marbles than to have accumulated a massive supply of loose screws.

It's a stretch but it could be true. As you like to tell us that the south gets the most government assistance yet more democrats than republicans are on welfare.
Didn't realize that the party affiliations of welfare recipients was information that was available. Something new I learned today.
As a percentage of each race who has the highest percentage of welfare recipients? What’s the percentage breakout of party affiliation of said race?
These are very simple questions and answers that a “data” person should be able to arrive at.

If the small slice of Libs in Wyoming is driving their suicide rates then it is equally plausible the small slice of (R) among poor African Americans would be driving partisan composition of welfare recipients. Same game same rules. ymmv
You can also leverage studies that show which political affiliation suffers from higher rates of mental illness. But you won't do that because it doesn't support what inferences you are making. Just like you can leverage studies which race is the primary recipient of welfare when looking at total recipients as a percentage of the total race population.
Again - EASY things to arrive at if you are an honest 'data' person. Which of course you are not.
What can I say. Your "honesty" in interpreting the Wyoming suicide data is something I will always treasure. You are a giant among data analysts.
I'm just calling it like I see it which is someone who claims to be above Deza continually pushing Deza.
Its unfortunate I have to call out and check such disgusting lies.
I appreciate the honest fact checking and correction. You are a true champion of the truth.
