I do. Especially off a bonafide starter. CB gonna surprise. He's not McCann, but not Laird either.

I think for young players, spring performance means a lot because they approach it like it matters. Experienced players, both pitchers and hitters, see it as part of the process to be ready by opening day.

I enjoy watching the team score runs. I don't care how they do it. There is no mythical old-school purity test that runs have to pass in order to make me happy.

I do appreciate your telling me how I feel about the team, though.

Well, since spring is so important now, I guess our 4-9 record is not a great sign of things to come
