It would be nice if that gets taken care before ST ends where we can take a look at him sooner rather than later. Hope to hear something on Olivera soon too, including the Braves signing him (though I am guessing Padres or Dodgers at this point).
 
I guess I'll be the one to say it. Everyone made such a stink about Callaspo being a fat ass. But I'm looking at him and for a baseball player I would just say that he looks at worst moderately fat to me.

I've liked Pedro for years due to his versatility, but Bowman has been making fun of him every chance he gets (including twitter and a recent interview). Bowman keeps saying he can't hit a curve ball, only a fastball. He basically keeps using him as an example that someone can have good Spring Training stats and still "suck" in other words.
 
Peterson with a hit, very good AB too as he worked the count full before a line drive single to center. A lot better AB than his first few tonight.
 
Perez chased a bad one that last AB to strikeout, looked like he was trying to do too much that whole AB (two homerun swings to start it). He looked much better his first four AB's though.

nvmnd... saw he was off the 40 man earlier in the off season... was wondering if it meant a different move, but guess not.

He looks like a defensive liability who can’t hit that we just signed for $3 million to me. Granted, he clearly offers something that Stella! and Goss don’t, but I can’t imagine what that is. (I know, I know … gritty, a vet, and great in the clubhouse.)
