Spring Training 2015

Reality is setting in. I'm excited about all these kids we have, but this will be a humbling year I think. Getting carved up by good pitching seems to be our motto.

This has been the first game all spring I've been able to watch all the way through, and while it's an exhibition game, I'm afraid it's indicative of how things are going to go.

Nevertheless, still excited for a new baseball season.

Was just able to tune in to see Jaime's inning. Struck out the side against some tough hombres, but did walk one. For better or worse, I think he's locked in now.

So, according to fangraphs projected WAR, no team made their porsitional team worse from 2014 than the Braves.

Nobody said that but pretty clear you're very angry at the FO for getting rid of him, get over it.

LOL you are capable of about one thought at a time. I'm angry that the FO gave $44M to an over the hill guy, but won't invest in guys like Heyward/Upton/Moancada/Olivera/etc.

Well I've seen that he's basically the same hitter and I've seen others tout his "gold glove defense"

I think he is pretty close to Jason in terms of hitting unless Jason puts it together (which he should have done years ago and could happen at any moment). Nobody is close to Jason defensively in RF.

Heyward and Upton are gonna cost double what Markakis got in AAV.

Moncada/Olivera there is an International Pool.

Besides, im not sure i'd invest the money it will cost for Heyward and Upton, both have long-term concerns.
