Schlosser 4 IP, 2 ER, 5 K, 0 BB. May have actually helped his case as bullpen part

Thomas 1 IP, 3 K, 2 H, 1 BB, 2 ER. On whole, still a solid candidate, one would think.

Gearrin, Buchter, Vazquez all worked solid scoreless inning, Buchter striking out two (HBP)

Schafer 2-4, RBI

Mejia 1-1, RBI (trade bait to AL?)

Pena 1-2, 2B, BB, R (.345)

Uggla 0-3, 2 K

Dob article on Schlosser being a candidate for the rotation if more injuries strike. Seems to be responding well in his opportunity...

Schlosser is a sidearmer who is much more effective against righties than lefties. His best chance for major league success is as a ROOGY.

Ian Thomas is almost equally effective against righties as lefties. He had a better season than Schlosser last year in AA (2.81 FIP versus 3.27). To me he is the one who is more likely to be able to step in and provide some additional depth to our starting rotation if it is needed.

Freeman said he doesn't think jammed thumb is too serious. Came out more for precautionary reasons. Got jammed on got shot up the line

Why are the Braves being so stingy with ST coverage?? Every time I have tried to watch the preview show its been blacked out. You call DTV and they say its mlb restrictions, but it must be solely in the team's court because the Yankees let their content air out of market. You would think all the years of having a national presance the Braves would be the same way.
