It's why I never once attempted a slide in a game. We practiced it and it wasn't pleasant so I said screw it...
Great sign if you ask me. Nobody can tell me he wasn't heavy last year at this time. Maybe Upton has another MVP type year.

I loved sliding but I was a headfirst guy. Until it was banned from little league or whatever. THen I stopped sliding and got really good at skidding into a bad. No wonder my knees are in such great shape now.
