Spy Ballon Shenanigans

I don't know what you have read on the matter, but afaik no one has claimed they flew across the US on the other occasions. What I've read is those other occasions have been relatively brief incursions into U.S. airspace and territorial waters.

But if you want to knock down something no one is claiming be my guest.

Another object shot down over Alaska just now.

Lol... a reverse trajectory model of the "object" puts it's origin near the Nome, Alaska NWS weather balloon/radiosonde site. That same weather balloon flight terminated at 100 mb which could be close to the 40,000 foot height the object was reported at. Did we just shoot down our own weather balloon? lmao

So I'm not so sure now. Initial reports are that we were first aware of the object late last night and tried to get close then and again this morning. Thus it could not have been this morning's weather balloon which is the one which terminated around 100 mb. And last night's weather balloon appeared normal. So if those reports are true, its still a mystery.

This is turning into a kind of crazy story. Especially as we have not been given any hint at all what these objects could have been... only that they were definitely not a balloon. Sadly, we will probably never know what these objects actually are/were... even if they come out with an official story

Airspace shut down in north central Montana for DOD support. Maybe another one. Methinks someone is testing our air defense capabilities

It's going to be a circus because Republicans led by the orange clown are going to politicize it like they do literally everything.

Another object shot down over Lake Huron... this one octagon shaped at 20,000 feet. Sounds like the previous two objects may indeed have been some kind of balloon from comments a few officials have made.

So why was it too dangerous to act last week and this week we are shooting down everything in the sky?

You realize the china balloon had a payload the size of two city buses and weighed thousands of pounds, right? These others are much smaller and over very remote areas. None of us know anything that has gone into the decision making process. Could be the right move could be bad... I dunno. Not every story in the world has to be used for political banter... its just a super interesting story to me.
