Didn't want to start a new thread for this but did anyone catch what Marquis Grissom said about Michael Harris (DOB Athletic article)?
"The last time I saw a player when I said he was different, that was Chipper Jones, that was Barry Bonds, that was Gary Sheffield....All the great players, they’re different. And that’s what Mike Harris is — he’s different. And when I say he’s ready, he’s ready. We’ve got three good outfielders, four good outfielders right now in Atlanta. But this kid is ready."
Granted I have no idea if Grissom is worth a flip with regards to scouting and he's obviously biased but its hard not to get excited about that kind of hype. I'm really excited to see what he does in the minors this year.

Very Flirtatious, but Doubts What Love Is.
I wouldn’t put him in that rarefied air, but I’ve been saying I expect Harris to shoot up prospect lists this year.
He’s also one of several reasons I’d be comfortable trading Drew Waters as the primary piece in the right package.

Yeah, no one should ever compare any young kid to legends like that... but its nice to hear so many people who've seen him a ton say that he's just "different"

I understand though. I know a high school analyst that used to run camps and he'd put what I'm sure was a pretty honest and accurate comp on guys. Problem was a lot of time folks didn't know who he was talking about or were aware that he was talking about a pretty average college player.
So it was either not particularly helpful or not particularly interesting and in any case not want anyone really wanted to hear.
No real upside in downplaying upside, I guess, if you want the general public to read you.
dude he was able to identify the #1 overall pick as a great player, i think he knows what he's talking about.
