I wouldn’t get too excited about Wilson. Some seriously hard hit balls for outs today.
The most intriguing thing to me was William Woods. He was 97-98 on the TV gun and even touched 99 once. Slider got some uncomfortable swings, and he even showed a 91-92 mph firm changeup that he got a ground out with. I’m intrigued.
He is an intriguing prospect. 22nd round pick in 2018 out of Dyersburg (TN) Community College. He must have something, because he was a mid-season addition to the alternate site last year. Hasn't pitched above Rome so it will be interesting to see where they start him in 2021.
