Lewis could make a case for #1 if he keeps hitting the way he is.
Let's hope not. Let's hope he makes a case for #3.
If Lewis goes 1 or 2. I wouldn't be upset with groome at 3. But I don't know why the phollies would take a college OF at #1. They have several OF prospects(some in mlb).
I'm still saying no way the Phils don't go pitching. Everything I read/hear has them zeroed in on Puk and not even considering Groome (which is weird since he's a local kid).

The phils are like us. They are close. They want another peice to add that will be ready soon. Puk is maybe three years away if all goes well. That would put him in with what they already have. I think it could be a smart move. Also good for the Braves. Means Lewis or groome falls to us.
I like Puk but he has control issues and it seems all of our top SP prospects have that trouble. Also drafting Groome would give us an ace type prospect in the minors and would lessen the blow of trading pitching for a big bat.
Would Reds go for a power like Lewis in that bandbox of theirs?
I know I could look this up, but is Sun Trust Park going to be a pitcher's park like Turner?
I could live with Groome at 3. But, he isn't what the Braves need. They need a power hitting college outfielder who is no more than a couple of years away as long as you figure the OF approximately equal in overall talent.
I just don't want Senzel. "Highest floor" of a generally weak college class does nothing to excite me.
