State of the braves

Wonder how long before we see braces before TJ. With so many tearing up, it seems the next step would be to strengthen the elbow before it tears
 
Here's some wacky situational records for this under-performing team.

Pythag record - 34-31

1-run games - 9-19
2-run games - 4-7
NL West - 6-19
Road - 11-23
All 4 together - 1-9

16 losses where the Braves had the lead.
 
After an absolutely horrendous stretch in Early May, the Oz-man has now reached base safely in 23 of his last 24 games. Not much power to speak of, but he's rocking a .400 OBP over this stretch.

Now if we could just get Harris back on track, we might just be working with something offensively. He's had a nice few games lately. Hopefully it's a sign he is snapping of out this funk. If we could get to the point where we only have 2 black holes in the lineup, we could start scoring a lot of runs again.

Pen is still trash though. We aren't making any noise until the pen is fixed.

Bummer, Iggy, Lee, Closer is a pretty solid back end. Love to see Waldrep get a shot at some pen time for the rest of this season too- I fully understand why that’s probably not a good idea right now - but I’d love to see it.

The good thing is that the pen is usually the easiest thing to fix at the deadline.

I wish he'd get Mason Miller somehow. He's controlled for 4 more years. He'd cost a lot but he would lock that spot down for a while.
