Sunday braves at phillies

I liked the idea of giving him a chance, but I think it might be time for a complete managerial change. Nothing has changed with this team or it's major league direction.

Your just going to hate the next guy too. What's the point of playing musical chairs with the job if you continually vet the same manager.

Have you guys noticed that the Fox Sports Go promo that runs 28 times a game has Freddie homering in Boston? The promo has Chip and Joe hooting and hollering like the home run meant something at Fenway. You then look at the score, and it was 8-3 Red Sox. The Braves can't even get a winning moment in their own Fox Sports Go ad.

Snit is a garbage manager, but not sure how you pin this loss on him. Our offense is terrible when a game is tied or can be tied... we score ok until a game tying runner gets on or something. We gave folty a lead, he promptly gave it away. We had a runner in scoring position with top of the lineup up and a tee ball roller to 1b and a k. Viz is supposed to be one of our guys and he's suddenly a gas can in contested games. This team is just trash.

This team's hirings have been the problem. We went with the emotional decision to keep Snitker who doesn't understand the modern game and why in the world did we pick Chuck Hernandez as our pitching coach?

One of the problems with this franchise is that they are looking for the next Bobby. There is never going to be another Bobby, and we need to stop with Bobby's guys or guys who have been with the franchise for years.

"The Braves' Way" needs a new direction for statistics. Even Ron Washington was quoted a few years ago as saying you could take analytics and shove it up your bleepity bleep. I truly hope he isn't next in line.

"Washington acknowledged that he “never paid attention” to WAR and said that he still favors his eyes and instincts when making out lineups and determining playing time.
“I do pay attention to sabermetrics, but sabermetrics don’t have anything to do with humans playing a game,” Washington said. “I look at a lot of numbers and sometimes they come into play, sometimes they don’t. But I’ve always trusted my guts. I was an instinctive player and a coach and I’m an instinctive manager.”

Blame this on the Braves again.

We were closer the last two days to winning with the roadgray uniforms versus destroyed with the crappy Navy unis. You'd think the front office would learn.

Even Bobby was a terrible in game manager. I remember people couldn't wait for him to go. I knew we would get a long string of terrible managers after him. It's a problem just about every team has. They almost all favor traditional head up their ass managers.

Even if Coppy wants to rid of traditional style manager, he has two heads above his that want to go to Braves way.
